The ISV/OEM Account Executive is a new position being added to the Healthcare team to focus on a strategic growth priority for nVoq – the ISV/OEM community developing Android, iOS and other point of care documentation applications for the Healthcare industry initially, and potentially other industry verticals. The Account Executive will be responsible for maximizing uptake and utilization of the nVoq solutions platform by targeting and developing commercially viable engagements with this community.


  • B.S. required, MBA desirable
  • 5+ years minimum partner account management experience, preferably with an OEM-centric platform vendor organization such as Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft serving Healthcare and other industries
  • Excellent proficiency in oral/written English
  • Strong technical/engineering orientation – able to effectively conceptualize and communicate relevant platform synergies
  • Demonstrated track record of success in negotiating and implementing a roster of commercially successful OEM engagements with mobile developers
  • Confident, articulate self-starter with outstanding presentation skills
  • “Hunter” personality and networking-savvy
  • Familiar with SaaS business models
  • Team player capable of and comfortable working with a distributed virtual organization
  • This position will report to the VP/GM Healthcare and can be located anywhere in the continental US with proximity to a major airport. Travel is anticipated to be 40-50% including regular visits to the Boulder HQ office or other team meetings, and industry events.

nVoq is currently looking for a support engineer to provide technical assistance to its customers.  While candidate’s primary responsibility will be customer support, candidates will also help with quality assurance testing. In nVoq’s innovative start-up environment, team members are expected to address and solve problems that may not be directly related to nVoq’s product(s) but result from our product’s interaction with third party software products used by our customers. This creates opportunities to solve new and interesting problems. The successful candidate will become part of nVoq’s engineering team, but will work closely with nVoq’s sales teams and end users to resolve customer issues.

General Duties and Qualifications

  • Provide technical support for nVoq’s Software as a Service products
  • Work with customers to isolate, reproduce, troubleshoot and resolve problems using available system and tools. Investigate potential workarounds for verified defects. Manage expectations to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Work with software development teams to resolve product issues
  • Communicate with customers directly via telephone and e-mail in a professional and diligent manner. Ensure customers are satisfied prior to closing support issues.
  • Explain technical issues to customers in a way that is easily understandable.
  • Outstanding listening and communication skills
  • Maintain accurate/timely records in case tracking system
  • Participate in the creation of Knowledge articles, trouble shooting guides and other related support material
  • Occasional off hours support required

In additional to the duties mentioned above, a candidate’s general business to business sales experience should include some of the following:

  • 1+ years technical customer support experience
  • 1+ years of experience with windows, OSX, and Linux administration
  • 1+ years of experience with mobile application administration
  • Some work experience writing Knowledge Base content for end users
  • Experience supporting applications on Windows, iOS, Android, Mac OS X and Linux platforms
  • Experience with HTTP, HTTPS and TCP/IP networking Technology
  • Occasional scripting in various languages including JavaScript, HTML5, AutoIT, Python and Ruby required
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • Must have excellent time management and follow up skills
  • Willingness and flexibility to learn new systems and concepts and adapt to a regularly updated deployment environment
  • Prior experience supporting or using voice recognition solutions desirable

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
