    About this Role – In this role you will assist independent software vendors (ISVs) who have a requirement for speech recognition in their application and, are considering, or have chosen, nVoq to be their imbedded speech recognition partner.  You will help the ISV envision their application enabled with nVoq speech recognition and work with them from initial planning and design, through bringing their application to general availability.  Throughout the development process you will project manage the nVoq engagement, facilitate nVoq support during the development process, and assist the ISV to optimize their nVoq implementation.  As a member of the Customer Experience team, you will report to the VP of Customer Experience and work closely with the VP of Industry Go-To-Market.

        This Role – To help support our growth strategy and achieve our sales ambition, the Customer Success Manager will create, modify, and manage customer success programs and measurements. This role will work with executive-level client leaders, and partner across departments to align sales, marketing, and engineering to ensure customer success. You have experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) executive level enterprise account success, maintaining high renewal rates as a result of ongoing customer engagement and technical leadership, and have created KPI tracking mechanisms to benchmark team performance.

        Compensation Philosophy & Target –We want our people to feel valued for the contributions they bring and connected to the success of the company. As a result, for most roles we target market mid-point for salary after the first year. For new employees, we adjust for estimated capabilities and projected contributions as well as include an equity grant allowing employees to invest in the Company at a significant discount via Employee Stock Options.

        We regularly conduct thorough market research based on a variety of factors to establish a competitive mid-point for each role and adjust accordingly.

        This role will carry a base salary plus MBO and revenue variable with a first year On Target Earning potential of 110% of base salary or more.

        This role

        Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement automated solutions to verify that our software applications and APIs meet functional and performance requirements.

        Responsibilities

        • Develop, execute, and maintain high quality scripts to verify features, functionality, resilience, and scale in our mobile & desktop applications.
        • Work closely with development teams and product owners to understand satisfiers and create robust acceptance tests which include positive and negative scenarios.
        • Collaborate with developers in the reproduction and resolution of defects.
        • Document and communicate new product defects, including clear steps to reproduce.
        • Work with UX designers and product owners to help define a world class user experience.
        • Take ownership for and advance the improvement of the applications you test.
        • Work proactively with teammates to ensure that applications are of superior quality.
        • Occasionally assist Customer Support with reproducing and troubleshooting production issues.
        • Review and contribute to technical documentation.

        Capabilities

        • Write code that tests and evaluates our applications
        • Create automated UI test frameworks compatible with Angular, Electron, iOS and Android applications.
        • Diagnose and create Windows, Android, and iOS UI tests
        • Navigate Linux, Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android with efficiency
        • Design hardware testing with iPhone, iPad, MacBook, Android tablets & phones, Bluetooth, Handheld and USB microphones
        • Generate test cases for APIs using tools like Postman
